Stainless Steel Countertop Information

Stainless steel countertops have corrosion-resisting properties and can withstand high temperatures. Our residential countertops are made with 16ga T304 stainless steel and can be ordered with different edges and backsplashes.

Features:

ORIGIN	Stainless steel is made of a metal alloy with a chromium content of no less than 10.5 percent
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT	Stainless steel is 100% recyclable, and most stainless steel products are made from 65% to 80% recycled stainless steel
PROS	Industrial strength, durable, shiny, nonporous and easy to clean and disinfect, impervious to heat, corrosion, rust and stains
CONS	Can scratch easily; fingerprint smudges show up easily
HOW TO CLEAN	Wipe down with a dry or damp microfiber cloth with dish soap or glass cleaner. Undiluted vinegar also works well. A mild abrasive may be used for a more thorough clean. Clean in the direction of the grain. Buff dry with a cloth to bring the steel back to a shine.
